Will the Bloom Showerhead fit my shower?

Yes — the Bloom Filtered Showerhead uses a standard universal fitting (½ inch / 15mm thread) that fits virtually all South African shower arms. No plumber needed — it screws on by hand in under 2 minutes.

What's the difference between the wall-mounted and handheld models?

Both use Bloom's advanced dual filtration system. The wall-mounted (R1,699) replaces your existing fixed showerhead. The handheld (R1,299) gives you the flexibility to direct water where you need it — great for rinsing kids, pets, or hard-to-reach areas.

What does the filter actually remove?

Bloom's dual filtration system combines KDF-55, Calcium Sulfite, and Coconut Activated Carbon to reduce:

  • Residual chlorine
  • Rust and sediment

  • Bad odours

Filters & Maintenance

How often do I need to replace the filter?

We recommend replacing your filter every 3 months for optimal performance. In areas with particularly hard water, you may notice reduced effectiveness slightly sooner.

How do I replace the filter?

It's simple — unscrew the base of the showerhead, swap out the old filter cartridge for a new one, and screw it back on. No tools required. Takes about 30 seconds.

Which replacement filter do I need?

The Bloom Replacement Filter (R379) fits the wall-mounted showerhead. The Bloom Handheld Replacement Filter (R599) fits the handheld model and includes both the Fiber Activated Carbon Core and KDF/Calcium Sulfite Cartridge.
